Bébénca Organics - an organic baby clothing brand, has been founded on the core ethic of sustainability and conscious living for all.  

Story:

As an apparel designer, I had secretly harbored a strong passion to design trendy baby clothes. Little cute baby clothes seem bring smiles and give brief blissful moments of joy. I just love this simple yet a very powerful and rewarding reason to create a baby clothing brand. To make this dream a reality, I left my corporate job to pursue what I call, “My Smile Project”.

This quote transformed my perspective and inspired to follow the path of sustainability. Bébénca Organics defines its values and vision from this profound quote. I am also highly inspired by the life Mahatma Gandhi and his efforts towards sustainable living. Every day, we learn of so many individuals silently working towards a safe and sustainable world. We all must do our bit because its the right thing to do. 

"Bébénca" name is inspired from ‘Bibinka’ – one of the favorite desserts from my childhood days at grandma's house in Goa - India. Bibinka dessert symbolizes the happy, safe and playful days. Bébé is baby in French so a slightly stylized spelling with same pronunciation for the brand name embodies in itself the story and purpose. Through Bébénca, I hope to create some new sweet memories of safe, carefree, and happy days for every child.
